Aerosolutions has signed a contract to provide full feature ABACUS licenses for all ab-initio pilots training at CAE NLS in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. This will allow the Dutch based Flight Training Organisation to economically enhance the quality of their theoretical knowledge training courses and gain efficiencies in pilot training.

"We are committed to providing integrated training solutions that ensure the quality and economic goals of our customers training organisation," stated Jo�lle Haerens, Aerosolutions sales and marketing manager. "At this moment, we are still investigating how our other training products can be implemented to get the best performance and results."

CAE NLS, Europe's oldest flight school, was established in 1927 as the Netherlands' first pilot-training academy for private pilots. By 1931, the school offered flight training for airline pilots at Schiphol airport. In the 1960s, CAE NLS joined Schreiner Aviation, eventually moving its flight base from Rotterdam to Maastricht Aachen Airport and eliminating private pilot training to focus on ab initio training for commercial aviation. In 1987, major European airlines began staffing their fleets with recruits from among the school's ab initio graduates.

In 2001, CAE NLS joined CAE's Civil Simulation and Training division. In addition to its operations in Maastricht, the flight school offers training services in Amsterdam and at its Aeronautical Academy of Europe (AAE) at Evora in southern Portugal.
